Reconciliation is a wonderful opportunity to experience the love and mercy of God.
Opportunities for Reconciliation
Individual Confessions - Reconciliation is celebrated on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Reconciliation Room, and other times by appointment. St. Michael Parish also offers special Advent and Lenten Reconciliation Services.
The Light Is On For You - The "Light Is On For You" is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to invite all Catholics to experience the love and mercy of God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and is held during the season of Lent.
Communal Penance Services - St. Michael Parish offers special communal Advent and Lenten Reconciliation Services.
First Reconciliation is usually celebrated in the second grade. Parents are involved in every step of the First Reconciliation process. A group parent meeting is held in the fall with both the Pastor and the Director of Religious Education. The meeting is designed to assist parents in working with their child to prepare for receiving their First Reconciliation. The Religious Education Program catechists and St. Michael Parish School teachers prepare the children for their First Reconciliation.
