Public Mass at St. Michael Parish resumes on Thursday, May 28 at 12:00 noon!
Our new temporary Mass times are:
Sunday Mass: Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (vigil) and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The 9:30 Mass will also continue to be livestreamed.
Daily Mass: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 12:00 noon; Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
As a reminder, the bishops of Ohio have indefinitely removed the obligation we have to attend Sunday Mass. We are most concerned for your safety and your peace of mind, and we want to stress that anyone who is at higher risk of infection or who is not comfortable yet returning to church should continue to stay at home.
We will continue to livestream our Sunday 9:30 Mass so that all can continue to feel a part of our community even when not on the parish grounds. The lifting of this obligation also means that those who want to come to Mass can fulfill that desire on a different day of the week. By lifting the Sunday obligation, we can spread out the number of people at any one Mass time. So, for instance, a person could attend Mass on a weekday if they want and still watch the livestream of Sunday Mass if they want.
We will be having sign-ups to attend Mass for at least the first week, and we hope that people will indeed spread out to attend Mass on different days, and only one Mass per week. We are limiting capacity to 125 people per Mass. We are also asking everyone in attendance to wear a mask. Please click here to sign up, or call the Parish Office at 563-6377.
